If you're interested in getting connected with NetZero on a computer without an internet connection, follow the instructions below:
- With the connection you're on now, sign up for the NetZero service at the following link (make sure to note your user name and password):
Signup with NetZero
- After you sign up, it will ask you to download the NetZero software. Instead of running the software, download it and save it to a floppy disk (A: drive).
You should be able to right-click on the file link and select "Save Target As...". When saving the file, name it "NETZERO.EXE".
- Insert the floppy disk in the other computer without internet access and from your Start menu select "Run" and enter the command "A:\NETZERO.EXE".
- Allow the software to install and you'll be prompted to enter the user name and password you registered with in step 1.
It will then find a local access number and dial in.
